Born under the name "Ateliers de Blicquy", eurakor is an adapted work company specialised in the manufacture and packaging of various types of products and in the provision of customised services.
eurakor is one of the thousands of Belgian companies that share values every day in order to build a more coherent, harmonious and sustainable society. eurakor is committed to playing a societal role by integrating less able people into the workplace.
After more than fifty years of work in its workshops in the village of Blicquy, the company finally moved officially to the industrial estate of Leuze-en-Hainaut, a few kilometres away, under its new name "eurakor".
This is a major investment for the company, particularly in its new 13,000M2 infrastructure. One of the company's objectives is to double its production over the next five years.
But also, a desire to move towards a circular economy with the future launch of Granulakor, a range of screeds, concretes and other formulations for small local contractors encouraging the recycling of excavated soil.
Today, the company has split its activities into two separate departments: eurakor services and eurakor production.
Every company needs a hand at some point, but does not need to hire anyone. This is where eurakor comes in. Every day, our 200 or so employees are at the disposal of companies with motivation and a focus on performance.
We always work hard and take pride in a job well done!
Created in 1964, " Les Ateliers de Blicquy "is the second ASBL to receive its approval as a sheltered workshop whose aim is to employ disabled adults.
Significantly, in 1992, a joint committee was set up for the sector: workers can vote in social elections, be candidates, be elected and participate in the conclusion of a CLA.
