A look back at the SIEP trade fair in Mons: two days of exchange and awareness-raising
On 27 and 28 March, we took part in the SIEP trade fair in Mons, It's a not-to-be-missed event for anyone thinking about their professional future.
Present in the space Handi'Cap, We had the opportunity to share our experiences in the field, our jobs and the different opportunities available within eurakor.
Over the course of the two days, we met many visitors: students, people reflecting on their career path, the curious...
These simple, accessible discussions enabled us to get to know our working environment better and to answer everyone's questions.
Raising awareness from an early age
A particularly memorable moment: the disability awareness events for primary 6 pupils.
These exchanges provided an opportunity to discuss, in simple terms, essential concepts such as inclusion, differences and the world of work. An important initiative to raise awareness from an early age.
A conference to open up the outlook
We also hosted a conference on a subject close to our hearts:
«What if I worked in a sheltered workshop?»
It's an opportunity to remind people that the jobs in ETA are varied and not limited to manual work. It's a way of opening up perspectives and deconstructing certain preconceived ideas.
Our warmest thanks to everyone who came to meet us during these two days. These moments of exchange are invaluable and reinforce our determination to continue to inform, raise awareness and provide support.
