EURAKOR, it now employs more than 200 staff, including 170 workers with disabilities, who are active in various sectors: industrial production, packaging, grounds maintenance, administrative services and professional cleaning.
Your role
To strengthen our production and packaging operations, we are recruiting a Production/Packaging Team Leader (M/F/X).
Acting as a key link between the Production Manager and the teams on the shop floor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of operations, supporting staff and ensuring that production targets are met whilst adhering to quality, safety and deadline requirements.
Above all, we are looking for someone with hands-on experience, capable of developing their teams, organising work effectively and maintaining a climate of trust, whilst remaining results-oriented.
Responsibilities
Team management and support:
- To supervise, guide and support workers on a day-to-day basis.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Ensure that work instructions and product data sheets are fully understood.
- To motivate teams and foster a positive working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and work regulations.
- Anticipating and managing conflict situations.
- To ensure that new staff are welcomed and settled in.
Organisation and planning:
- Organise day-to-day production and packaging activities.
- Draw up schedules and allocate resources as required.
- Allocate tasks according to the workers’ skills.
- Ensure business continuity and anticipate the unexpected.
- Ensure that raw materials, consumables and equipment are available.
- Ensure that work areas are kept tidy, clean and safe.
Performance monitoring:
- To meet targets for quality, productivity, costs and deadlines.
- Ensure that operations are carried out correctly.
- Identify problems and implement practical solutions.
- Monitor performance indicators.
- To contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Training and development:
- To train and support workers in the workplace.
- To promote versatility and skills development.
- To act as a technical and organisational point of contact.
- To take part in team appraisals and monitoring.
Ideal candidate profile
Experience:
- Proven experience as a team leader, workshop manager or supervisor.
- Experience in an industrial production, packaging or construction site environment.
- Experience in the construction or building sector is a significant advantage.
- Proven experience in work organisation and team management.
Skills:
- Natural leadership and the ability to bring a team together.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Good time management and stress management.
- A sense of responsibility and a results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in using standard IT tools (Office 365, ERP, planning tools).
- Ability to support workers with a wide range of backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills.
