A morning of discussion on adapted work

At the start of September, we were delighted to welcome Ludivine Dedonder, Member of the Federal Parliament, accompanied by the Leuze Socialist Party team and’Aurélie Wauters, First Deputy Mayor, to come and visit our workshops.

This morning gave us the opportunity to gain a practical insight into our working environment, to meet our teams and to discuss the day-to-day realities of a Sheltered Workshop (ETA).

Through a tour of our various workshops, today’s visitors were able to observe our day-to-day activities and gain a better understanding of how a sheltered workshop operates: providing people with disabilities with a suitable working environment, enabling them to practise a trade and develop their skills, whilst meeting the needs and requirements of our clients.

At eurakor, this reality is reflected on a daily basis in a wide range of roles, practical expertise and teams that play a full part in the company’s operations.

These visits also provide an opportunity to raise awareness of the ETA sector, the roles it offers and the realities of adapted work.
